AI Compass is published by Ashutosh Shrivastava (AI For Success). We collect only the minimum information required to publish the site, measure aggregate readership, send optional browser alerts, and deliver email editions.

Website analytics

We do not use third-party ad networks, cross-site trackers, or browser fingerprinting, and anonymous website visitors do not receive tracking cookies. To measure daily readership, outbound link clicks, and story and sponsored placement visibility, we process non-identifying request metadata (such as country and device category) in aggregate without storing raw IP addresses.

Browser alerts

If you enable optional browser alerts, your browser generates a push delivery endpoint and encryption keys for this site. We store that endpoint, its encryption keys, and coarse country and device category (and, if you previously clicked through from an email edition in the same browser, an association with your subscriber record) solely to send daily edition notifications and measure aggregate alert delivery. Browser alerts do not require an email address or account, and turning them off on the site immediately removes your push endpoint, encryption keys, and subscriber association from our active records.

Sponsored placements

When an edition includes a clearly labelled Sponsored placement, we count aggregate impressions and link clicks. Sponsors receive only aggregated campaign totals and never receive reader identities or email addresses.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to AI Compass by email, we store your email address, subscription status, and basic delivery and engagement metrics using trusted cloud hosting, database, and email delivery service providers. Clicking through from an email edition may set a first-party cookie on this site to measure subscriber link engagement.

Your rights and contact

Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time under applicable data protection laws by emailing aiforsuccess.in+compass@gmail.com. When you unsubscribe or request deletion, we remove your subscriber data while retaining only minimal suppression records needed to ensure unsubscribed or bounced addresses are not contacted again.
