Anthropic announced on 3 November 2026 via its official Claude Developers account that users can automatically connect plugins upon signing in to Claude when underlying Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers accept Claude as a trusted issuer, letting plugin builders keep users authenticated across sessions without repeated manual re-authorisation prompts.
