OpenAI announced on 4 November 2026 that it will acquire Pierre Computer Company, Inc., creator of the Code Storage hosting platform and the open-source Trees, Diffs and Highlights libraries already integrated into the Codex app for file browsing and inline diff editing, pairing the team with OpenAI’s internal Pando Git backend to scale parallel human-and-agent code review; financial terms were not disclosed.
